Teaching/ Research Experience:

At present working as an Assistant Professor (Senior Lecturer) in the Department of Mathematics, University School of Basic & Applied Sciences, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University . Passed B.Sc.( 81.9%, 1989 ), M.Sc.( 89.3%, 1991 ) and Ph.D.( June, 1997 ) in Mathematics from University of Delhi . Second topper of University of Delhi in M.Sc. examination with 100/100 marks in Integral equation and 98/100 marks in Space Dynamics. Also, the topper of Zakir Husain College , University of Delhi in B.Sc. & M.Sc. Examination.

Visiting Associate of Inter University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA) , Pune ( 2002-2005) . Awardees of Young Scientist Award from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Delhi for three years from 2004 of Rs. 10.5 lakh . Successfully completed projects as Principal Investigator from various funding Agencies (CSIR, AICTE & DST).

More than 17 years research (from 1991) and 12 years of teaching experience (from 1996). Recipient of many Scholarships (Zakir Husain College Merit Scholarship from 1987-1991 & The 55 th Indian Mathematical Society Annual Conference Scholarship 1990-1991 ) , Awards ( National Senior Mathematics Olympiad Contest Certificate 1984 , Competition success Review 1984 “ The Certificate of Merit ”, Zakir Husain “ The Certificate of Merit- 1989 ” , Zakir Husain “ The College Crest- 1990 ” and Zakir Husain “ The College Colour- 1991 ”) and Fellowships (JRF, DST, March 1992 to October 1993 & SRF, CSIR, July 1994 to August 1996 ) .

Visited and attended International Conferences at Sydney ( Australia ), Eindhoven (The Netherlands ), Singapore , Istanbul ( Turkey ) etc., States in India to attend and deliver invited lectures in National conferences . Subject Reviewer for many National and International Journals . Chaired the technical sessions in National conferences

1 Book and more than 30 Research Publications in Journals of International / National repute and Conferences to the credit. Supervised three candidates for Ph.D. Degree and four are presently working for Ph.D. Degree. Appointed as Consultant, Subject Expert, Examiner – Head examiner, Evaluator, Moderator for various examinations in Mathematics, Statistics, Computers, Operational Research, Information Theory and Bio-Mathematics in various selection committees of States, Board, Universities, Institutions and Organizations.

L ife member of several National and International recognized Organizations in the sphere of Mathematical Sciences including American Mathematical Society ( AMS ), Indian Science Congress Association ( ISCA ), Indian Mathematical Society ( IMS ), Indian Society for Industry & Applied Mathematics ( ISIAM ) , Gwalior Academy of Mathematical Sciences ( GAMS ), Asia-Oceania Geosciences Society. Member of Governing Body of Ideal Institute of Management & Technology, Member of Center for Fundamental Research in Space Dynamics & Celestial Mechanics. Member of “ Consultancy Development Centre” an Institution Promoted by DSIR, Ministry of Science & Technology.

Administrative Experience:

Administrative experience of more than 12 years worked as Member Board of Studies, School Research Committee, Examination Committee, Curriculum Development Committee, Library Committee; Academic Committee & Liasioning with external Academic Agencies Committee , University News Letter.

Social & Political Activities:

Actively engaged in social and political activities and serving congress selflessly with all my sincerity, selflessness, dignity and esteem with only motive to propagate the high values and standards set by Congress party so far for the last 32 years. During Corporation, Vidhan Sabha and Lok Sabha elections went for campaigning of congress candidates. Providing free education to poor and deprived people of the society especially to women and girls. I have worked for the up liftmen of poor and deprived woman of the society. Some of the important positions working as:

•  Chairperson, INTEC unit , Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee November 2006 onwards.

•  Chairperson, Teacher Cell/ INTEC, Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee June 2008 onwards.

•  Member, Election Publicity Committee for Vidhan Sabha Election 2008, Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee.
