I was being appointed as Secretary, AIMC (All India Mahila Congress) Incharge Uttranchal, in year 2001-2002 folowed by winning of Congress in 2002. Contested election from Tilak Nagar in February 2002. won the Congress Seat with huge margine of three thousand votes. I am the second Congress Councilor who won MCD seat at Tilak Nagar after Independence . I actively participated in MCD House at Town Hall and meetings at West Zone. I was given different responsibilities in different committees. I worked sincerely. Last year, I was given responsibility of Deputy Mayor, I have tried my level best to perform up to the expectation of Congress Party. |
| Development Work |
Most of the time, I utilized 100 percent of Councilor Development Fund for development work in Tilak Nagar area. I got three projects work done for Dense Carpeting of the Roads. I completed two Community Centers and handed over to the public. Improvement in MCD Dispensary by installation of X-ray Machine, Ultrasound Machine and Blood Analyzer. And Stone laying Ceremony of 100 Bedded hospital at Tilak Nagar. I tried to develop most of the parks in my area. I became instrumental in developing authorized MCD parking for Tilak Nagar Market and provide sufficient light arrangement at parking site under flyover. |
